SME Fund

The Sisvel Cellular IoT SME Fund helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) become licensed under the Cellular IoT pool at low or even no cost. The initiative is designed to enable SMEs to enter the market with licensed products in a way that reduces their IP risk while minimising their monetary exposure.

SME companies that agree to take a Sisvel Cellular IoT licence will pay no royalties on their first 2,000 units sold during the initial two years of the licence. Instead, Sisvel will pay the relevant royalties to the patent owners from a special fund it has set aside for this purpose. The offer is available to SMEs on a first-come first-served basis while funds last.

Once a company has sold more than 2,000 units – or has enjoyed not having had to pay royalties for more than two years – it will be subject to the same transparent rates as other Sisvel Cellular IoT licensees.
